Text

Pater noster, qui es in caelis,
Sanctificetur Nomen Tuum;
Adveniat Regnum Tuum;
Fiat voluntas Tua,
Sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie;
Et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
Sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;
Et ne nos inducas in tentationem;
Sed libera nos a Malo.
Amen

Text – Line for Line Translation
Pater noster, qui es in caelis,
Our father, who art in heaven,

Sanctificetur Nomen Tuum,
Hallowed be Thy name,

Adveniat Regnum Tuum,
Let Thy kingdom come,

Sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Let Thy will be done on earth, just as in heaven,

Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie;
Our daily bread, give us today;

Et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
And let go of our debts (sins)

Sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;
In the same way as we let go of our debtors

Et ne nos inducas in tentationem,
And don’t let us fall into temptation,

Sed libera nos a Malo.
And deliver us from evil.

Amen
