The Hail Mary

The Hail Mary is a prayer requesting the intercession of the Virgin Mary. The prayer begins with the salutation that Mary received from the angel Gabriel, at the annunciation [Luke 1:28]. The success of our Voices Home Multilingual Lord’s Prayer project has given rise to a number of inquiries regarding the Hail Mary, so we are gathering simple translations and offering them here.  Our rosary/prayer-bead page and our Hail Mary in the C Programming Language page may also be of interest to those drawn to this particular prayer.
