Ten Biblical Examples of Dedication

  • Jesus – was willing to live and die for us because of His great love.
  • Mary – said "yes" to God, brought Jesus into the world, and then dedicated her life to raising Jesus.
  • Joseph – stood by Mary and raised Jesus as his own son.
  • St. Paul & the original apostles – dedicated their lives to spreading the Gospel.
  • David – a shepherd, anointed as king, who slew Goliath.
  • Esther – so dedicated to her people, she defied the law and went before the king to save them.
  • Daniel – so dedicated to prayer, he was thrown in with the lions for it (and survived).
