WebDef: Posidemic

Posidemic /päzedemik/ – Compound Noun: The contagious spread of something beneficial.

The idea of a posidemic is the similar to an epidemic, in that it refers to contagion, but differs in that it specifically refers to the spread of something positive.

Often, the term is used to relate to ideas, which also can take hold and spread. The spread of a positive and empowering concept, such as "never underestimate your ripple," would be a posidemic we'd love to see, in action.
